Structure of District 105SW

District 105SW brings together Lions clubs across South West England under a shared structure that provides leadership, coordination, and support. While each club operates independently within its local community, the district ensures consistency, good governance, training, and collaboration across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the Bristol area.

Global Structure

Lions clubs are part of Lions Clubs International, supported globally by the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). This international structure provides worldwide strategy, humanitarian coordination, and global standards 

Multiple District

MD105

District 105SW forms part of the wider Lions structure known as Multiple District 105SW, which covers the British Isles and Ireland. The Multiple District provides national coordination, strategic guidance, and governance oversight to ensure consistency and high standards across all districts. It supports training, national initiatives, safeguarding frameworks, and compliance with charity regulations, enabling districts such as 105SW to operate confidently and effectively with a strong national framework.

District 105SW

District 105SW is responsible for supporting and guiding Lions clubs throughout South West England. The district:

- Provides leadership through the District Governor Team

- Supports membership growth

- Coordinates training and development 

- Ensures safeguarding and governance compliances 

- Facilitates communication between clubs

Local Clubs

Our Mission

Local Lions clubs are the foundation of District 105SW. Each club is rooted in its own town or community, identifying local needs and responding directly through service projects and fundraising activities. From coastal communities in Cornwall to urban centres in Bristol and Gloucestershire, clubs reflect the character and priorities of the areas they serve.
