Lions Club International District 105SW offers support to youth by offering the Young Leaders in Service Award, and by supporting Leo Clubs across the district. Clubs across the district support Lions Lifeskills which is a resource pack for young people.

Lions International Peace Poster Competition

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

Lions Brass 4 Youth

Lions Brass 4 Youth is North Somerset’s County Youth Brass Band, for young, improving brass musicians. The Band accepts new members from of all ages with or without musical experience.

An entirely Independent Organisation, the Band is a project of Lions Clubs 105SW, which provides support from Lions clubs throughout the South West of England. Additionally, it is a partner of the Music Education Partnership: North Somerset. Read more

Leo Clubs

Leos now constitute an international network of over 6,500 clubs in over 140 countries. Community service remains the cornerstone of the program, fostering a lifetime commitment to helping others. Like their Lion counterparts, Leo club members enjoy serving their neighbours and watching positive results unfold.

Lions Youth Exchange

The Lions International Youth Exchange Programme was launched to provide today’s youth, the leaders of tomorrow, an opportunity to learn about people and cultures other than their own in an effort to promote world peace. Young people are given the opportunity of living with a family or families in a foreign country for a few days and then enjoying fellowship at a Youth Camp. Find out more

Young Leaders in Service award
