We hold our regular business meetings on the first Monday of the month, at 8.00pm at The Ship Inn, Par.  The third Monday of every month we have social get-togethers for Lions and friends, which may be a meal out, a boat trip, a quiz evening, whatever we think people may enjoy.

Every year  members of the Club get involved with many local events in the Fowey River area. The area covers Fowey and Polruan and the all the villages including, Golant and Lerryn right up to and including Lostwithiel. We also represent Polkerrris, Tywardreath and Par as far as the railway line.  We hold Easter egg raffles at many pubs in the area in the run up to Easter.

We also help individuals in need by, for example, driving them to hospital or doctor’s appointments.

Every December over several evenings we go out with our trusty Father Christmas on house-to-house collections. Last year we raised over £4,500 for local causes.
