Our Mission : We Serve our Community

City of Wells Lions Club is a place where women and men work together in a friendly, purposeful atmosphere so that their valuable time and effort can improve their community and contribute to Lions Clubs International. Since the club was formed in 1975 it has raised more than £170,000 for local and Lions Charities, it has actively been involved in supporting local welfare services. organised fund raising concerts and one of the City’s best loved events – the Moat Boat Race around the Bishops Palace.

Joining Us

We welcome visitors to our meetings that usually take place on the second Monday of every month, 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at the Lawrence Centre, 37 Chamberlain Street, Wells BA5 2PQ. Here you will find out about our plans, including the social events enjoyed by our members.
