	SPECTACLE COLLECTIONS

Spectacle Collections are currently organised by Chichester Lions only. PARCEL FORCE will collect FREE OF CHARGE from any town in the UK and deliver them to the Chichester Lions collection point.

The procedure to follow is:

1. Pack spectacles loose into stout well sealed boxes, each roughly the size of a 12 bottle wine case, each weighing no more than 10Kg.
2. Enclose a slip with your name and address.
3. Label the boxes ‘Articles for the Blind’
4. Label the sealed boxes with the address below.
5. Ring on 08708 501150 (Parcel Force Data post Collection Centre).
6. Quote contract number, R233259.
7. Ask Parcel Force to collect boxes for delivery.

The address for delivery is:

• All types of glazed frames.
• Unglazed frames in metal only but preferably only glazed frames.
• No lenses without frames please.
• No cases please

This arrangement with Parcel Force means that:

No members will have to locate a Sight Officer to take items off their hands.

Spectacles can be put to good use as soon as they are dispatched.

All Clubs can now participate in the collection of unwanted spectacles without having access to storage. Your garage will not be clogged up with old spectacles.
