Lions 105 SW District Convention

2011 Convention

2010 Convention
Convention was held at the Holiday Inn, Plymouth, weekend of Friday 12th to Sunday 14th March 2010.

Commemorating 40 years since the establishment of District 105SW

Prior to the start of Convention in order to commemorate 40 years since the establishment of District 105SW District Governor Christine Rowe, accompanied by Past International Director Dr Patti Hill, planted a Gingko tree on Plymouth Hoe together with a suitably inscribed plaque which incorporated the Lions logo.

The Gingko Tree is of course the symbol of our International President Eberhard Wirfs and it has been sited in a very prominent position popular with both locals and visitors to Plymouth alike. Anyone visiting Plymouth and wishing to see the tree will find it to the right hand side (as you face the sea) of the War Memorial on the world famous Plymouth Hoe.
